19-11-25

There's something inherently wrong with the aspect ratio of the camera in my cell phone, but it takes pretty amazing photos at night, and through chain link fences too. Strange days.

I went for a walk today. With Sophie. And cameras. It was a great day.

When it's not raining, the light is lovely this time of year in Vancouver, except that it's gone by 5pm.

19-11-7

Another cell phone photograph. Just point it at shit and take a photograph. So easy. Why would anyone buy a proper camera?

19-11-6

Cell phone photograph. The Pixel3 has a pretty amazing camera except its proportions defy convention so this is slightly cropped to give it a more natural ratio. I didn't measure, just eyeballed it, but out of phone it's a bit taller. Not square, but not rectangular enough. Strange how a random negative size has become convention and anything not constrained to conventional proportions just looks odd.

I might have taken a photograph today. On film. Probably. Maybe. Maybe not.

Days in October are rarely sunny.
