It's become a bit of a tradition to drink wine and watch some completely non-Christmas-ie movie on Christmas Eve. Tonight it was a bottle of Toscano and the classic Steve McQueen's The Hunter and then Swingers. Not a bad way to spend an evening.

One Last Night at 1067 on Granville Street before being shut down later this month. It's been there for 14 years run by a collective of musicians. It's depressing. This city is killing me slowly.

Records. I managed a good three records from front to back, or side to side as it were. It's probably the first time I've done that in 3 years. Some wine. A new couch. A stereo that needed an extensive dusting off before being serviceable. It was a good place to be for the night. Mostly.

Sophie wants a rabbit for Christmas. I think I may have convinced her it's not a good idea until she's at least 6 years old. This will have to do in the mean time.
