Metaphors;

Keeping it simple. Large windows, and a simple door and walk. Nothing is boarded up but there's some cautious coverings, cracks allowing glimpses in, and out. A small covered stoop, a simple house. I'm trying to get my head modeled like this. It started with yesterday's photograph, and while I feel like I've come a long way from there, I'm not quite here yet, but the address is clear with a light above is so at least I know where it is and I can get there in due time, even if it's dark out. Some days it's dark out.

Metaphors.

Disjointed compartments, seperated by closed doors of various types. Things secreted away, some boarded up, some with warning signs telling you to keep out. Some you just can't get to because there isn't any stairs. Some work is being done to fix this mess, perhaps to connect them, repair windows, widen doorways...

Who knows what will result. Maybe it will still be disjointed, with a new coat of paint and Bluetooth operated heavy duty door locks taking the place of "keep out" signs.

I'm sure I took a photograph today but I can't find it. This might be the first time I completely accidentally, without knowledge, didn't take a photograph. Or maybe I'll find it and plug it in here. I don't know. I don't know a lot of things these days.
