Three and a half years ago I bought a small digital camera for $1300 and I took a bunch of photographs with it and it's pretty good. And then the power switch broke. And it's going to cost a bunch more money to fix the stupid thing.
So the little Fuji X100S goes back to Fuji to get fixed, and this weekend and for the next week or so I'm going to haul around one of the three 40+ year old Spotmatics I own. Updates will be sporadic. The pictures will have a unique film quality. And then I'll get that little Fuji back and everything will go back to the way it was before. I'm alright with the way things were before. Somewhere in here is a "moral to the story" or an analogy, or something.
Or something.
