Camaros will always hold a spot in my heart. Especially white rusty ones. This one is about a '76. The fast one had 165hp, and did 0-60 in around 8 seconds. That makes it down 100hp and a second slower to 60 than a new Dodge Grand Caravan. Worse on gas too. But still, I'd rather have the Camaro.

Under a heavy, gray sky, rising from a black sea. Vancouver. It looks good on the horizon.

For a while I thought the idea of living in a camper was quite romantic. And then I found cities. Money is changing cities, they are dying, or becoming the playgrounds of the rich, and maybe small towns, or places where you can live in a trailer, maybe these places are gaining appeal. I'm not alone.

Me, taking a photo of Sophie, taking a photo of me, taking a photo of Sophie, taking a photo of me, taking a photo of Sophie, taking a photo of me....

Now she's a pinball wizard. 2 hours of freeplay at the Pinball Museum. And the last day of our Seattle spring break trip. It was fantastic. She preferred the old school games. So did I.

I've been thinking about this story recently. So much being said under the surface of the words you're being presented with. Those six words are so rich, so telling. Your mind so easily understands the narrative, whatever it is, and there may be dozens, and they are all correct. Six words, wow. So very, very good.

Rarely do I post three photographs for a single day. But Gum Wall day deserves a little extra.

Every spring break this kid and I spend a week together. This year it's a mix of sticking around Vancouver and road trip. Today it was the Capilano Suspension Bridge. I've never been before. Now I have.

Demolition. The east wing of City Hall is gone. Nothing is permanent. I joked that I was going to get that as a tattoo once; "Nothing is permanent."

The camera makes everyone a tourist in other people's reality, and eventually in one's own.

Today's mood; overcast, with a chance of storminess, and maybe a light of in the distance, but it probably won't help me see anything. Not yet, anyway.

Today's image brought to you by the TIFF format. Now without purple artifacts. But with bonus moire. It would seem Blogger and my photo files aren't compatible anymore. Never used to be a problem. Huh.

Now what?
