Stuff keeps wearing out. I've got a pair of boots with heals that betray a poor walking technique. And pens that rip holes in back pockets.

20-3-27

Antiques.

20-3-26

As the virus spreads... things of beauty persist.

20-3-24

I wonder if she's praying for something different 3 weeks later?

Short walk. It's cool, I stayed at least 2 meters away from everyone I passed by.

20-3-23

It's the end of the world.

20-3-22

I've had this knife for about 30 years. That little grey thing in the cork screw? That's a screw driver for eyeglasses. I used to wear glasses. Around the time I got this knife I also got my first credit card and I saw that little screw driver in the Swiss Army Knife accessory display case at a mall in Mississauga. I think it was Mississauga. It was $1.99. I didn't have any cash on me so I bought it with my credit card. It was the first thing I ever bought with a credit card.

Well, I guess they are dead now. They don't owe me anything, but I'd have used them for another year if there was still guts in the bottoms of them.

20-3-20

Jug Island, just east of Vancouver, and the view at the end of a pretty easy hike. It's a good way to Socially Distance oneself. The rain is supposed to set in next week. I was hoping for more hiking. I guess you can hike in the rain. But do I want to?

As a pandemic chaos sets in, daffodils and sunshine remind us spring is here.

20-3-16

Apparently coronavirus hasn't scared away new businesses from advertising in the neighborhood. Pretty sure this is bad for coronavirus containment though.

20-3-15

Proof that I got it back together. I only broke one plastic clip that holds a breather hose in place. For 23 year old brittle plastic, that's not bad.

20-3-14

First day of social distancing. A perfect time to swap out the timing belt on my car. Two crescents and a pair of vice grips keeps the cams in sync.

20-3-13

Panic hoarding of soup has decimated the Safeway. Toilet paper, pasta, flour, cheese, and strangely milk, are all sold out. How much milk can one hoard without it going bad? People are stupid.

20-3-10

Work watch. I've been beating the crap out of this thing for eight months now. No, that's not a long time, but it's longer than the last one lasted. And the one before that as well. It's a gooder.

20-3-7

Hail storm. Ice and sunshine. Strange weather.

Current mood; cowboys.

20-3-5

60mm. Maybe I'll start using a zoom lens again.

20-2-29

Leap year. I turned over the compost today. Wow. Beautiful.

20-2-28

Dinner.
