I make my kid lunch most days. It's routine. She gets a lot of bananas and peanut butter sandwiches. I keep asking if there's anything else she wants. She says she likes the lunches she gets.

Routine. Ruts. Patterns. The days can become repetitive if you let them. Pack a lunch. Go to work. Go home to make dinner. Repeat.

The little art projects, in this case a banana that you need to turn on before eating it, keeps it interesting. It forces some creative thought into what's an otherwise banal activity. Little things. For both of us.
