I bought a new lens last week, or maybe two weeks ago. I've not used it every day but I've used it a lot lately. It takes pretty spectacular photos. It's cured me of my Leica M lust. It's inspired me to take more photos recently. It's made me notice how quickly it's getting dark these days. We're in that half of the year where the days are shorter, and getting even shorter quickly. It makes you think about escaping, running away to lighter, warmer, dryer climes with a camera and a change of underwear. Or maybe just throw tarps over what you've got and hope you can make it through until the spring. The rain hasn't settled in yet so at least there's that.
